Founded by the husband and wife team of Tom McMillan and Kiwi tattoo artist Misery, Sunset Tattoo opened its doors in 2014. Together, Tom and Misery have years of experience, all over the world, working in some of the most respected tattoo studios both at home and abroad.

In three short years Sunset Tattoo has become one of Auckland’s most respected studios. They are now attracting some of the best tattoo artists in New Zealand, and overseas.

Sunset Tattoo may only be a few years old, but everyone involved with the studio has been in the industry a long time. After years of buying tattoo supplies at huge mark-ups from people who don't even tattoo, they became frustrated and decided to do it themselves.
